Jim Solberg – USA National Director
As USA National Director, Jim is the lead servant of the work of Bridges for Peace in the United States. Jim first traveled to Israel in 1974, as part of a St. Olaf College study program; and has returned over 30 times in the past 10 years. Like so many others, the Land and the people have left an indelible mark on his heart. He is vice-chair of the BFP-USA Board, and a member of the BFP International Board of Directors. He is a graduate of St. Olaf College, has done graduate work at Luther seminary and at Liberty University; and has been awarded a Doctor of Divinity degree by the Master’s International School of Divinity. He is an ordained minister, and member of the International Ministerial Fellowship. He and his wife have been involved in Prison and Renewal Ministry. He hosts an annual tour to Israel; is a conference speaker, and regularly teaches and preaches on various Bible topics. Jim and his wife Sharon reside in Melbourne, Florida.
