Susan Ambercrombie – Special Projects Associate
Susan Abercrombie has served in ministry since 1978 when she began leading inductive Bible studies. She was instrumental in starting the Precept Bible Studies Ministry in Nashville, Tennessee which grew to hundreds of people in a few short years. She first realized her call to Israel and the Jewish people in 1993 while on a tour in Israel. In 1996 upon a return visit to Israel, she was inspired by a friend to bring a group to Israel. Realizing that most people who came to Israel left totally confused by the sites and culture they faced; she developed a 3-part teaching video tour of Israel, entitled “Land and Word”. Her desire at that time was to bring Christians and Jews back to the land and use the teaching video to prepare them for the journey of their life.
In 2001 she began volunteering in Israel and has done so for the last six years. Her love for Israel and its people has done nothing but grow since that time. She became involved in Bridges for Peace in 2006 recognizing the great work that Bridges for Peace is doing in Israel. Bridges for Peace is the avenue God has used to complete her calling to build the bridges between Christians and Jews.
Susan lives in Cocoa Beach Florida with her husband Rick, and they are active in their local church. They have 4 children and 6 grandchildren.
