Rev.
Lennie Allen has a B.A degree and a Masters in Biblical Studies.
Lennie has studied the areas of Jewish History and Heritage of
the Christian Faith for over 20 years which include studies at
Hebrew University in Jerusalem. He travels extensively worldwide,
including twelve trips to Israel, and has ministered in over 40
countries. Because of his work bridging the gap between Christians
and Jews, Lennie was asked in January of 2003 to sit on the board
of the Dallas Memorial Holocaust Center. He has worked extensively
with Bnai Zion for over 15 years and in 2004 he was asked to sit
on their Board. In addition, Lennie was honored as a righteous
gentile for his service to the Dallas Jewish community and Israel.
He is Founder/Producer of Dallas Night to Honor Israel and Israel
Awareness Weekend, supporting Israel and the Dallas Jewish community.
As the Bridges for Peace Area Coordinator for the southwest United
States, Lennie travels extensively teaching, speaking and overseeing
the BFP network in his region and bringing the crucial message
of biblically mandated Christian support for Israel and the Jewish
people to the Church. Lennie served at Hillcrest Church in Dallas
for over 17 years. He was Pastor of World Outreach from 1988 to
2004 and also served as Pastor of Jewish/Christian Relations.
Lennie and his wife Marcy have two children, Joy and Joshua, and
three grandchildren.
