September 25 - Travel Day
Today you depart from your home town to connect with the others in your tour group overseas flights. You will need a passport to depart the United States, and your
passport must be valid six month past your arrival date.

September 26 - ARRIVE ISRAEL - TRANSFER TO THE DEAD SEA
We will arrive at Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion Airport late this afternoon. A Templeton Tours representative and our guide will meet our group at the airport and assist us with
luggage and customs. Our Hotel tonight is on the shores of the Dead Sea. We will arrive in the early evening, enjoy a buffet meal, and unwind from the trip (D).

September 27 - QUMRAN and Desert Feast at Ein Gedi
We will begin our day with an early morning swim in the Dead Sea. The waters are 25% salt and mineral content, making the water so dense that it is impossible to sink. This will be one of our only sleep late days to get you rested. We leave the hotel at 10:30am to begin our tour of the Holy Land. We will also explore the site of the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls and have a late lunch at Qumran. Later this afternoon we will arrive at the green desert oasis of Ein Gedi, where David hid from King Saul. There we will enjoy a Desert banquet and Feast of Tabernacles Opening Night under the full moon
at Ein Gedi with 5,000 other pilgrims from around the world. Overnight at the Dead Sea (B/D).

September 28 - MASADA, an overview of JERICHO,
First Glimpse of JERUSALEM, and Eve of Shabbat After a delicious buffet breakfast, we begin the day with a tour of MASADA, the mountain fortress and desert palace of Herod the Great. We ascend over 1500 feet by cable car to magnificent ruins of Herod’s palace buildings, a complex of ancient cisterns and bathhouses, the remains of the 6th century Byzantine church and view the Roman ramp used in breeching the walls of this almost impregnable stronghold. We will stop for an overview of Jericho and travel up to Jerusalem on the “Old Jericho Road”. We will celebrate the ascent to the Holy City with the breaking of bread and prayer on Mount Scopus. We are arriving in Jerusalem early, to check into our hotel before the beginning of Shabbat. This evening we will enjoy a buffet dinner at the hotel and three different venues provided for the Feast of Tabernacles pilgrims (B/D).

September 29 - Caesarea, Haifa, Mt Carmel, Megiddo, Valley of Armageddon, Biblical Garden at Yad Hashmona
This morning we will travel northwest of Jerusalem to Caesarea by the sea and visit the Crusader’s castle, the Roman amphitheater, and the seaport from which the
Apostle Paul sailed to Rome. We’ll continue north to Haifa for a beautiful view of the Mediterranean and the River Kishon. Continue along the coast to Mount Carmel
to see the site of Elijah’s triumph over the prophets of Baal. After lunch we’ll continue north to Megiddo to see Solomon’s stables and water supply system, as well as
the Valley of Armageddon, site of the battle described in Revelation 16. On our return to Jerusalem we will visit the Biblical Garden at Yad Hashmona. The garden includes olive trees and an olive press, grapevines and several winepresses, a wheat field and threshing floor, a watchtower, Bedouin tents, an ancient Galileean synagogue, and a burial cave. Each area has been reconstructed according to the best archaeological
knowledge of ancient life. We then travel to Jerusalem for dinner and the opening night of the 2007 Feast of Tabernacles at the International Convention Center Jerusalem (B/D).

September 30 - Mount of Olives, Garden of Gethsemane,
Jewish Quarter of the Old City

This morning we begin our tour on the Mount of Olives. The Mount of Olives offers us a breathtaking view of the city of Jerusalem. While we are here, our guide will point out all of the important sites of Jerusalem. Then we will walk the Triumphal Entry route to Garden of Gethsemane. We will pause here for a private Sunday worship service and meditate in the area where Jesus had his agony and was betrayed. From this vantage point we also get an excellent view of the Eastern gate. As we reflect on Jesus’ great sacrifice for our sins, we can look ahead with great anticipation as we await His imminent return. Then we will enter the Old City of Western (Wailing) Wall Jerusalem to visit the traditional site of King David’s Garden of Gethsemane (ancient olive tree) Tomb and the Upper Room. After lunch in the Jewish Quarter we will visit the Temple Institute to see many of the recreated elements for the proposed new temple. Next we will visit the Roman Cardo. The Cardo was the main street of Jerusalem in Roman times. We wil also visit the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. After dinner at our hotel we will return to the International Cconvention Center for an evening celebration at the Feast of Tabernacles (B/D).

October 1 - Bridges Headquarters, House of Caiaphas, Yad Vashem
Our tour today begins at Bridges for Peace Headquarters. We will meet the staff and share in a brief devotion. Then we’ll visit House of Caiaphas where Peter denied Christ three times. Afterwards we will travel to the Promenade for a southern overview of
Jerusalem. We will also visit Yad Vashem, a museum built in memory of the six million Jews murdered during World War II. Time permitting, we will also visit Shrine of the Book to see some of the Dead Sea Scrolls. This evening we will attend communion night at Feast of Tabernacles celebration (B/D).

October 2 - Western Wall, Kotel Tunnel, Bridge’s Food Distribution Center and
Jerusalem March

This morning we will enter the Old City through the Dung Gate for a visit to the Western Wall for Prayer. We will also visit the Kotel Tunnel. There we’ll see the ancient hand-chisled cisterns, narrow passages, an arch that supported the bridge across the Tyropean Valley, and the original Herodian foundation stones upon which the Western (Wailing) Wall was built. Then we’ll walk down the Via Dolorosa to see St Anne’s Church and the nearby Pool of Bethesda. We’ll exit the old city through the Lion Gate, then travel to the large Bridges for Peace Food Distribution Center. After lunch we will gather at Sachar Park for the Jerusalem Parade and March. This evening we will enjoy a delicious dinner at our hotel, then return to the International Convention Center for our final celebration of the Feast of Tabernacles (B/D).

October 3 - Garden Tomb, Beit Shean and the Sea of Galilee
After breakfast we will conclude our time in Jerusalem with a visit to Calvary and the Garden Tomb, a peaceful spot where we will have a private communion service as we reflect on Christ’s crucifixion, burial, and resurrection. We then depart for the Galilee area via the Jordan Valley. Along the way we will stop and visit the ancient Greek city of Beit Shean to see the excavations of the city where the Philistines hung the bodies of Saul and Jonathan. Then we’ll travel up the east side of the Sea of Galilee to the Mount of the Beatitudes to read the Sermon on the Mount while overlooking the Jordan Valley. We will also visit Capernaum to see the remains of an early church, the ruins of Peter’s house, and an ancient synagogue. After lunch we will take a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee from Capernaum to Ginnasor and remember the many miracles our Lord performed in this area. We will also view an ancient boat that was found in the Sea of Galilee. Before we check into our hotel on the Sea of Galilee, we will stop at the Jordan River for those who wish to be baptized (B/D).

October 4 - Golan Heights, Caesarea Philippi, Cana, Nazareth Village, Tel Aviv
This morning we’ll check out of our hotel and travel through the Golan Heights to Banias where freshwater springs form a source of the Jordan River. Near here Peter made his great confession that Jesus Christ is Lord. From several vantage points today we can see Mount Hermon in the distance. We’ll then travel to Cana, where Christ turned the water into wine. We will also visit the Nazareth Village in the boyhood home of Jesus. This village brings to life a farm and Galileean village, recreating Nazareth as it was 2000 years ago. After lunch at the village with Dr. Pfann, we will travel to Afula (Biblical Ofel), then continue on to Tel Aviv for dinner and overnight.

Day 11 - Travel Day - Depart Israel – Return to the USA
Today our memorable journey comes to an end. After breakfast we will transfer to the airport in Tel Aviv, say goodbye to our guide and driver, and board the plane for our return flight home. In flight we can reflect and fellowship with our friends and remember the things we shared together (B). Gordon’s Calvary (Golgotha) Synagogue at Capernaum
